Project Brief:
Develop a web site to serve a microbrewery restaurant that
is easily updated and highlights the fun atomosphere of
the establishment. The client wanted key areas of the website
to be Content Management driven (CMS), and have the ability
to take gift card orders using SSL for secure payment. A private secure area for Employees to download documents and training documents and videos was requested.
Solution:
We built a web site that shows the hours of operation,
events, directions, and contact information. A menu is available
as well as a schedule of upcoming events. The various drink
specials and brewing process are highlighted. The Perfexion, Inc. Content Management Systems (CMS), is used for updating key areas of the website
including the Calendar of Events by location, Featured Beers, and other selected areas. There is a gift card section where secure credit card
transasctions can be taken. The website features numerous areas with Flash integration to improve the user experience.
We created a secure employee area where documents can be uploaded and downloaded by management and downloaded by management. Employees can be setup my management and documents can be categorized by roles within the restaurant with security being applied so only employees in designated roles can view selected documents.
